First of all, since the hosts are historians, I expected a focus on history, and discussion about what the books get right and wrong, and adding detail and historical context. In the first episode, "Meet Felicity, Meet Us", there wasn't much history. I learned nothing new.
The other issue for me was how the hosts talked about Felicity. They commented that as girls they liked Felicity, but as adults they found her obnoxious and selfish. It bothered me how much of the podcast was a pair of adults trashing a nine-year-old. Even a fictional nine-year-old, it still bothered me.
